KS SCM440 is a chromium molybdenum alloy steel per Korean Standard KS D3867, equivalent to JIS SCM440, AISI 4140 and EN19. It is widely used in quenched and tempered condition for high-strength shafts, gears and automotive components requiring good fatigue resistance.
